From March 24th, 2022, through April 19th, 2022, a cross-sectional investigation was undertaken within institutional frameworks. A nationally representative cohort of 6661 adults, part of the inaugural 2018/2019 wave of the Sri Lanka Health and Ageing Study (SLHAS), provided the data used in our analysis.
